3D Scanning – Precision Digital Capture of Physical Parts

Need to reverse-engineer a motorcycle part, create digital documentation, or generate a high-quality CAD model for 3D printing? Our 3D scanning service offers fast, accurate, and professional solutions for capturing real-world objects in digital form.

What is 3D Scanning?

3D scanning is the process of digitally capturing the shape and geometry of a physical object. Using structured light or laser scanning, we generate a detailed point cloud, which is then converted into a mesh model (STL/OBJ) or surface model (STEP/IGES) – ready for editing, engineering, or 3D printing.

Why Choose Our 3D Scanning Service?

  • High precision – capture fine details with up to 0.05 mm accuracy
  • Time-saving – no need for manual measuring or modeling
  • Perfect for reverse engineering – recreate discontinued or custom parts
  • CAD and 3D printing ready – export in industry-standard formats

What Can We Scan?

We specialize in scanning motorcycle components, technical parts, tools, prototypes, sculptures, and more. Ideal object size: a few centimeters up to 50 cm. For larger items, we scan in sections and merge them digitally.

Applications of 3D Scanning:

  • Creating printable 3D models
  • Reproducing rare or custom motorcycle parts
  • CAD design based on real-world shapes
  • Dimensional verification and quality control

Our 3D Scanning Process

  1. You send or deliver the part (in person or by courier)
  2. We prepare the surface if needed – including matting and marker placement
  3. We scan and process the model in dedicated 3D software
  4. You receive the final file – STL, OBJ, STEP or other format of your choice

Output Formats

By default, we deliver a printable STL mesh, but we also offer professional CAD-ready formats like STEP and IGES upon request – perfect for use in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, and other engineering tools.
